An endings guide updated August 13, 2026 describes three results for the story night. A fourth ending is acknowledged and not solved in that guide.
Survive with the allowance
Stay above 0 Sanity and meet the money on the board before the parent returns. Correct door calls and finished chores are both described as income. The parent is glad you earned the allowance.
Survive without the allowance
Stay alive until morning but miss the money. The same guide says you can do a few chores and still miss the target. The parent is glad you are safe and says to try again tomorrow.
Lose all Sanity
Keep making wrong door calls until Sanity hits 0. The failure view described there shows an oven fire, knocked-over objects, a crooked painting, a leaking faucet, and the goblin running through the house. The writer said it took an intentional string of mistakes because one night did not supply enough anomalies.
The fourth ending
That August 13 guide says the developers had mentioned a fourth ending and the steps were still unknown. A later events writeup attributed an August 12 update to turning a fourth ending on and adding another visitor. The steps are still not in the sources read for this page. Do not follow a checklist that only says to watch the house and hope.
Update 8's captured description adds a second night and one unnamed visitor. It does not publish that night's ending list. Night 2's extra rules, including any basement route, were not in a source that stated specific actions.
